This podcast and the leaders who run it are exceptional. I have never felt more of a sense of community, even among hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of women. I very much appreciate their commitment to facts and honesty. So thankful for all the work they’ve done to build and maintain a safe, honest and supportive community.
I have so much fun listening to the podcast and I’m an OG member of the FB group which makes me smile every day. Of course, like everywhere these days, there are a few twats who are anti vax/science/ human decency but the admins do a fantastic job keeping them in their box and keeping the group focused on 70-80ties nostalgia. This is such a great podcast for making you feel like you’re back in the 80’s hanging with your friends. Funny stories that call back to things you almost forgot. Megan and Leslie are warm and funny, kind and intelligent. No mean girl vibe, no crazy conspiracy stuff. Just GenX cool at its best.
This podcast is great not only from a nostalgia standpoint but also hitting on stuff that we, as ferally raised latchkey kids, are genuinely just sick to death of!!!
I have been thrilled that this creator shuts down anti science and anti vax folks. Somehow it is now someone’s ignorance or stance to be “anti-woke” is supposed to be equivalent to facts about science and vaccine efficacy. Glad she holds the line for sanity, and hate that she gets low ratings sometimes for shutting down ridiculous antivax propaganda.
Megan and Lesley are the perfect ambassadors of our shared experiences. So funny, so relatable; and they have morals and principles that they do not compromise to bend around an agenda. Very highly recommend✊
